Lørdag 25. mars var vi vertskap for 18 TAJO-ungdom på produksjonsanlegget vårt i Erembodegem, Belgia. I løpet av mars måned jobbet ungdommene med temaet 'Sikkerhet'. De avsluttet dette temaet med et besøk på fabrikken vår, hvor de lærte om produksjonssikkerhet ved VPK gjennom en interaksjonstur.

20. februar 2023 kunngjorde Corex, en del av VPK Group, at de hadde inngått en avtale om å kjøpe Arteche Paper, produsent av coreboard, kjerner og kantbeskyttere i det iberiske markedet. Corex bekreftet i dag at oppkjøpet ble vellykket gjennomført.

Lørdag 4. mars samlet en gruppe belgiske kolleger seg ved Gentbrugse Meersen for å plante ikke mindre enn 1000 trær. 60 voksne og 30 barn deltok på dette familiearrangementet.

VPK Group har lansert ‘My VPK’, et innovativt nettverktøy som gir kunder 24/7 tilgang til deres emballasjebestillinger.

The official opening of VPK Group's high-tech plant in Halden took place on 23 September 2022. The greenfield project is an important investment step for VPK in Norway, both locally for the region and internationally thanks to its unique position in the Nordic market.

VPK Group has launched its fit2size® brand in response to its growth strategy to further develop Fanfold corrugated packaging solutions across Europe. In response to the increasing demand for e-commerce and logistics packaging, the company has created a new product based on the latest Fanfold innovation to further strengthen its ambition to supply excellent sustainable packaging solutions.   

In 2021 the turnover of VPK Group reached 1.75 billion euros, an impressive 28% increase compared with previous year. The group’s paper machines recycled 1.4 million tonnes of recovered paper. Due to inflationary pressure, the increase in EBITDA was limited to 7% to reach 212 million euros. Net operating profit remained stable at 88 million euros. 2022 is equally characterised by a significant increase in raw material and energy costs.
