On Saturday 4 March, a group of Belgian colleagues gathered at the Gentbrugse Meersen to plant no less than 1,000 trees. 60 adults and 30 children took part in this family event.

Corex, część Grupy VPK, zawarł wiążącą umowę dotyczącą przejęcia Arteche Paper, wiodącego gracza w produkcji tektury, tub i narożników ochronnych na rynku iberyjskim. Umowa pozostaje uzależniona od warunków zwyczajowych i oczekuje się jej realizacji w drugim kwartale 2023 roku.

Corrugated packaging manufacturer VPK Group has launched ‘My VPK’, an innovative online tool that provides customers with 24/7 access to their packaging orders.

The official opening of VPK Group's high-tech plant in Halden took place on 23 September 2022. The greenfield project is an important investment step for VPK in Norway, both locally for the region and internationally thanks to its unique position in the Nordic market.

In 2021 the turnover of VPK Group reached 1.75 billion euros, an impressive 28% increase compared with previous year. The group’s paper machines recycled 1.4 million tonnes of recovered paper. Due to inflationary pressure, the increase in EBITDA was limited to 7% to reach 212 million euros. Net operating profit remained stable at 88 million euros. 2022 is equally characterised by a significant increase in raw material and energy costs.

With the installation of a new Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Evol 100 casemaker, VPK has completed its first investment in Viallon Emballage, proud member of our VPK Group for a year. With its high efficiency and excellent die-cutting possibilities, it will be the first EVOL to be installed in France and the eighth within our VPK Group.

VPK Group launches the conversion of the DA Alizay industrial site, located in the Normandy region, into a hub for sustainable development in the circular economy. VPK Group announces to carry out the rebuilding of the paper machine with Valmet Oyj.
